We Already Have Single-Payer Health Care in America—It’s Called UnitedHealth Group.
I‘m back.
I took a detour and just graduated from law school. I’m now an MD/JD.
I’d like to share with you my piece just published in The Sling, a site devoted to all things antitrust.
My feeling on the biggest problem in American health care today? It’s too big.
Except for a select few, that “bigness” hurts everyone else stuck in the system. Doctors. Nurses. Staff. And most of all — you. The patient.

Remember when they busted the trusts back in the day? The robber barons who consolidated the railroads? We need something like that now in health care.

More to come,
Venu Julapalli, MD, JD
Thank you for this! And congratulations on your law degree! With your expertises and your transparency you will make a difference! My son left the “system” and started his own practice. He’s happier! Please keep going bc the so called “Health System” is taking us down!
Wow! Dr. Julapalli I always knew you were extremely intelligent but never thought you would detour to a law degree 😃 big congratulations to you for your accomplishments and it was so wonderful too hear from you. I sometimes miss stopping by the office.
Regarding the health care in our nation I really think it’s just not what it once was an and it will be a miracle if we return to what it was…real care for people’s health. Today it’s all about greed 😔😠
